What:
A four- to eight-week summer program that introduces rising college juniors and seniors to the home furnishings industry. Students will spend four to eight weeks with a furniture supplier, manufacturer or retailer. The goal of this program is for the student to gain a broad understanding and appreciation for the home furnishings industry.
Where:
YHFP has many companies participating in this program. Students will be assigned to different companies based on areas of interest.
Student Qualifications:
- Student should be a rising college junior or senior.
- Student must provide a copy of their transcript.
- Student must have a letter of recommendation from a professor or department head.
- Student must write a one-page essay as to why they would like to participate in the program.
- Student must submit a resumé with application.
All applications must be in by April 30.
